Demo Action

You can try demo action on your computer right now (surely you must have Photoshop installed). This instruction composed for Photoshop 6
(switch to Photoshop 5 version)

1. Save this image
("sample.jpg" »)
to your computer (right-click on it and select "Save Image As..." in context menu)

2. Download Demo action (5 Kb):
DemoSet.zip

3. Unpack downloaded "DemoSet.zip" and save extracted "DemoSet.atn" file to your computer

4. Run Photoshop

5. Open "sample.jpg" file
(File > Open...)

6. Open Actions palette (Window > Show Actions)

7. Load "DemoSet"
(click on small round button on the right-top of Actions palette > select Load Actions... > find "DemoSet.atn" on your computer;

8. Loaded actions will appear in the Actions palette

9. Select "Demo Action"

10. Hit "playback" button on Actions palette

11. In a few seconds you will see edited image
(looking like this

In this example following changes were made:
- chin retouched
- skin whitened
- background changed
- overall color and tonal corrections made

 

In a few seconds you will see edited image

12. Now you have got multi-layer document, so if you don't like some of these changes you always can discard / fine-tune them to your taste either using layer opacity slider on Layers palette

or correcting content of adjustment layers (Layer >
Layer Content Options...)
